A 'live' interview introducing Doctor #7, Sylvester McCoy to PBS audiences in the United States.
Also included in the interview are John Nathan-Turner and Jon Pertwee.
The guy doing the interview was really bad/nervous and Jon Pertwee just seemed to be having fun playing off of that!

  • dreamcastll and sibionic, I can only assume you two have only seen episodes from McCoy's first season. Check out this last two season's episodes. He really began to come into his own in the last season espically, Check out 'Rememberence of the Daleks, Curse of Fenric, Ghost light' and 'Survival' just give him a fair chance.

  • The funny leg thing was the best part...Although, anything Sylvester said was funny and cute too.

  • @gothamcity29 McCoy is the only classic Doctor who wouldn't need some crazy explanation (a la Davison) or massive makeup to explain his appearance. He doesn't look that much different than he did back in '96.

  • Sylvester McCoy needs to come back as the Doctor and meets Matt Smith's Doctor.

  • @sibionic There's no difference between this and BBC except with BBC people are forced to donate. There are hundreds of fine stations in the U.S. which aren't government supported.

  • There is no such thing as an uncharismatic, untalented actor of Doctor! :D

  • I didn't know PBS aired Dr Who. Y don't they play all the old series? It looked like they were having a lotta fun here.

  • Jon is a mischevious little minx, isnt he? the consummate performer even when he doesnt feel like saying too much and tries to push it off on the host. hilarious. bloody love that man...

am i right in thinking he's very popular with us under-30's ?

  • @KatKlingon Mmmm, McCoy's definitely come into his own, if he began to do so in the tv-series last 2 series, then he did it fully in the audios he has done. Marvelous.

  • Great to see JNT!!!

  • I absolutely adore how Sylvester can completely play someone against themselves. I would LOVE to meet him.

  • dis interviewer sucks or is it just me?
