Scene from American Gangster

This is my first project in RTF 366D Directing Workshop. The assignment was to choose a scene from a film that's already been produced, cast it, draw up character sketches, storyboards and overheads, rehearse it, present it live in front of the class, and then finally film, edit and screen it. I'd like to thank my two actors, Matrex Kilgore and Brian Villalobos for their time and commitment to this project. To my Director of Photography, Keegan Curry who, without his help, the final product would not be half as good. And a very special thanks to Gene Montes and Peggy Patterson who allowed me to film in their home when I had no idea how I was going to be able to get this thing done. Enjoy!
