I just got A FEMALE BETTA N I put her in the tank. So my fish can mate I followed all insrutions my male flared n so did my female I let her go n my male stalked n almost RAPED her I tuk her out n found out she was about 4 months. Can any1 tell me wat age do they hav to b so they can spawn pls

@Cheren5900 It is normally fairly easy to spot a female ready to spawn. The size of her abdomen is the first thing to look for; look at the 'belly' on the female in the vid. Use indian almond leaves for the male to build a nest under and give them plenty of hiding places so the female can escape him if necessary. Betta spa in the water helps too.

where u get these betta's??? u get them all off ur other spawns or..??

This fella was from another boy of mine and I do keep most of my spawns. Sometimes I spot a good one in a store, but mostly I go to other breeders. There are plenty about if you look around.

do female bettas ever make bubble nests? i have a female and some times there are bubbles at the top that look like the nests.
