This is from an HBO documentary of a 7 year old boy named Nicholas Lanza. The story is about how his dad went about telling Nicholas that his mom had died on 9/11 - I capped an excerpt from that.

I know Nick very well; I went to school with him for two years before he moved. Nick, if you read this, know that we pray for you, and that we love the Godly man that you are. <3 Miss you

Just watched this on HBO and barely got through it. My heart aches for all those that lost someone. I'm sure this baby is a wonderful young man know and doing just fine through God's grace and mercy. God bless everyone impacted by that day...

I remember watching this back in 2002 also and it was so very difficult to watch. Watching it again, now that I am the mother of a 5 year old son, tore my heart out. The tears are still running down my cheeks. Much love to Nicholas and his family and to all others who lost someone on 9/11.

I remember watching this back in 2002 and I remember wanting to go thru the TV and just hug him. I remember I was just sobbing for this little guy.

i know this guy. he goes to my school. he's fine now, his dad remarried and had a little boy. and he's always been very friendly. so, no worries. :)
