  • What camera did you use?

  • We used a Canon GL2 for this short.

When the next event comes around, we'll probably end up using a more high quality camera, which will make everything a bit more pleasing to the eye, I think.

  • I Can See Why You Didn't Win. The Concept Is Not Original At All. It's Basically "Saw" Meets The "Matrix" When Neo's Running To The Exit And Why Is Everyone A Martial Arts Master. Should Of Spent More Time On The Plot And Some Dialogue Instead Of The Fight Choreography.

  • Yeah, that's what we get for blowing 3 out of the 7 days that the contest ran for.

    Sorry it doesn't satisfy you.

    Matrix and Saw?

Sounds like a nifty little hybrid to me.

  • Did you guys win?

  • Well we placed in the Top 16 shorts of all 6 Colleges participating, but we didn't win any awards.

Ours was pretty different from a lot of the other shorts, and there weren't really enough to distinguish ours as a category.

They only awarded "Best Comedy", "Best Drama", and "Best Picture"

We were nominated for "Best Picture", but I thought out best shot would have been "Best Drama"

  • Nice dude, I really liked it, o.k. so like that dude said, it's not completely original, but what idea is now adays. I thought it was pulled off quite well, a little bit confusing at first and I think the end could have used some work. Maybe more than just a shot of the guy walking away. A closeup on the girls eyes while she's strugglin knowing she's about to die etc.

  • im confused, why would the over men try to kill him if they were trying to save him, and why did he leave the girl?

  • Shucks ... that stinks. Great film no less!

  • It's an interesting thing to try out though. Basketball bouncing for punching sounds.
