@BHHerper Been starved? Tarantulas can go for months without food and they are usually only feed about once a week. My Tarantula would not eat for 4 months one

@tarantulaman1720 Tarantulas don't take vertebrate prey like they do invertebrates. Also, this isn't the wild; this is captivity. If the tarantula got mites, you would change the bedding. That's not natural, now is it? In captivity, tarantulas have a surplus of food, in the wild they don't . People have to be considerate and realize that domestic mice have no idea what they are getting into when you feed them to tarantulas and feeding a tarantula a mouse is like feeding a snake a baby.
