@wingnut131 There's no such thing as death punk. There's death rock, but that has nothing to do with the graves misfits. They were horror punk too. Death rock is like the damned and 45 grave.

and for all you people arguing graves or danzig, it's simple:
danzig was a betterr punk frontman, but in the misfits he was by no means a great singer
graves had a better singing voice but didn't have danzig's personality (which, in my opinion, can be both a good and bad thing)
i cut my teeth on danzig-era misfits but prefer listening to graves-era, as it's more metal than punk, and without danzig's iron-handed approach to songwriting everyone had more input.
