@sjoh14 all there is in the bible is the tribes of the middle east , persia, arabia and europe........why because those were the people in the vicinity of jerusalem.
similarly india is separated from other civilisations by thousands of miles, hence none arementioned in hindu epics..
coming to think of it ..... how many other cultures exited 5000 years ago when hinduism was born, or 3000 years ago when these epics were created? very few.
hence none are mentioned in the epics.

I think they are great stories, but not greater then the bible. Hinduism is an indocentric religion for the indian people and by the indian people. Every other race or group is irrelevant. In the bible there are mention of thousands of races and God's plan is to incorporate them all into one family. Hinduism always be the religion by indians and for indians.

@vcindiana It is not about deceit....Please see the bigger picture.....Rama defeated ravan, but not thru deceit because villians of that yug were not as immoral...Just imagine the people of today's yug and our politicians...Can we defeat them as straightaway....Winning adharma by using it's own self against itself is not adharma...it is dharma..
