@DatLeT I found that Emma Rossum actually was a bad casting idea for that particular part. From the original book, it is said that Christine's character was a strong soprano like Sarah Brightman, Emma sang more of a popera type style. It was beautiful but not what should have been in the movie if they were trying to go according to the book.

Personally, seeing as I cannot hit a single one of these notes, I don't think I really have any right to say which Christine is better. They're ridiculously talented and amazing, and I am insanely jealous of both.

For all those who think Emmy is better, just remember that it is extremely difficult to sing opera in English, the same in German. For those who think Sarah is better, Emmy Rossum is not classically trained, so comparisons between them aren't really fair. They're both extremely talented and I think they both sound great.
