It looks very awesome! If I may make a suggestion... I would film your background first. Add your 300 effect to your background. And green screen your person in. I think it would add clarity from your body and your background effect. Because you become part of the background with no distinction. (You can get a "green screen" at a fabric store, just use any green cloth at all. And even iMovie can do green screen keying effect so I am sure you have the means of getting a program that can do that.)
