Cleveland Clinic provides a mobile outreach unit at the local community womens shelter. Taking the medical care out into the community. The mobile outreach unit focuses on preventative medicine, providing screenings and immunizations and diagnosing diseases and conditions. The goal of community outreach programs is to provide free easy access to quality care. Physicians team up with students at Lerner College of Medicine. The students provide screenings and education to inner city residents. Cleveland Clinic has the opportunity to give back to the community, go outside the walls and build a healthier city. Cleveland Clinic collaborates with Metro Health, Antioch Baptist church, catholic charities and more.
