Face To the Floor -Chevelle

Ok, lots of controversy going around about this sounding like a Tool song. I LOVE Tool and Chevelle, but those who say that they rip each other off are disgraces. It has been said that Chevelle's influences include Tool, but if you want to hear what Chevelle actually thinks listen to Clones off of their new album. It explains that they should not and will not be compared to Tool. I highly respect both of these bands, but I'm tired of reading crappy comments talking about the awful comparison. So stop. Thanks.

I would like to clarify this whole "argument" thing for everyone. Chevelle doesn't sound like Tool.  This specific song resembles something Tool would do. That's it. Nothing more. Now everybody shut up and enjoy this amazing song.

If they sound similar then that's good. Tool is amazing and so is Chevelle. Personally, I think the singer for Chevelle has a distinct voice that is very different from Tool's unique voice and most of the time the music is very different. But they are still two really good bands.
