Not bashing your friend but he is too out of shape, and too full of weekend survivalist bs to make it come the SHTF. His hearts in the right place, but he needs to rethink his idea of survival, and he needs to get into a little better shape.

You might want to consider making a video with survivalists in your neck of the woods who have real knowledge and would be interested to pass on survival skills

The unprepared armed folk know that all they need is guns. They're the new Vandals. That's why I'm glad to see more traditional democrats getting food stocks....AND guns. BTW, a lot of these preppers on you-tube are just as unprepared as the rest of the sheep. They're survivalist fanboys who talk a lot, buy lots of toys, but on their own, they can do very little.

@CuteCatFaith That is only something that our overly bureaucratic government does, just to make sure that they always have a fresh supply in the lines. Over very long periods of time, ammunition can become weakened if there is moisture present. It will never become more powerful or dangerous. Ammunition that is stored properly and kept dry will last indefinitely, as long as it started out as quality ammunition. Have a nice day.

BTW...just taking a quick glance at your equipment I can tell you're not seasoned campers. At that's TOTALLY cool. Just getting out there is awesome. But maybe you'd dig it more if you toned down the revolution rhetoric and just get in to the power of nature. THAT'S where it's at man. All that other stuff is just horseshit fed to you by fearful, insecure fools. It really is.
