OMG GET IT! I want to do this song sooo bad and I would love to jump to the E flat but i doubt my teacher will let me. She's only heard me hit a D and doesnt like me going over an A because she is a "soprano" (or was 20 years ago) and can no longer that high and I guess a male going higher kind of is a reality check to her. We'll see though. Thanks for the inspiration!

I can't help but think of Mickey Mouse now. But seriously, great job on that note! I can't believe anyone can hit that.

Oh. My. Lord.
Um. I love you? :)
That was fantastic!!
I was the furthest thing from ready to that glorious sound. Absolutely exquisite. I had to start learning this piece and what an amazing resource to have your voice as a guide. Bravo!!

Amazing. Has any singer ever taken "A Little Bit of Good" to an e flat? If Don Tatro isn't the most convincing male LYRIC soprano he has few rivals. This ain't a whistle note, folks; it's something girls would covet!

Thanks for the compliments! I'm sure there are guys out there that could take this to an E-flat, but I haven't heard it done.

Most countertenors have small voices. I count only three "lyric" high male voices: Benjamin Marcantoni, Klaus Nomi and Don. Maybe Husson also - he has a lovely voice, incredibly high but not quite as powerful as the other ones.
...and yes, I'm a girl, and I am envious of this!! My highest note is an octave below!

I love hearing from you. The voice is an amazing instrument. There's a guy on here that can place each pitch to go higher than the piano. I can't seem to find it now. I think he was on a show to make a world record. His speaking voice is a normal baritone. He wasn't trying to make beautiful tones, I just found it fascinating that a man could do this.
