Don't talk nonsense. Xmal Deutschland evolved separately out of "Neue Deutsche Welle" in Germany, which sort of means punk/new wave in English. They started off as an all girl band in 1980, and the singer Anja Huwe maybe sings at about the same pitch as Siouxsie Sioux, but their styles were totally different. And since the Banshees were making a quite radical goth change about then, maybe Siouxsie was trying to sound like Anja ?!
