This is a side by side comparison of the Rip 60 and the TRX suspension trainer. Both of these products are suspension training products.

  • Why can't we see your face in either video. Do you work for Rip:60?

That big heavy metal piece is going to totally ruin your door. FYI.

  • @toddanthonydirect I dont show my face because I am actually Bill Cosby and Im embarrassed that this is the only work I have lately.

I dont show my face for privacy reasons. I was not paid any money to make these videos. By the way I like your TRX videos. Do you work for them?

  • Thanks for all of the comments.

  • This might be a stupid comment, but why did the makers of Rip60 compare their system to two Beachbody products than the TRX or Jungle Gym systems. I didn't even know there were other suspension trainers out there like the TRX.

Thanks for the video, I still don't know which one I'll buy but it's nice to have someone show up close comparisons of similar products.

    THanks :)

  • @ExiledArchivist I agree. It is weird that they dont call out TRX on their website.

  • I just got my rip 60, but it didn't come with the pin in the pully mechanism. Does anyone also have this problem?

  • @sgu2011 I would contact their customer service.

  • I have gone through 7 TRX's they are cheaply made and wear out quick, the cheap foam handle is a bacteria magnet. I got my Rip60 and it "Rocks". I can interchange any handle or attachment I want with it, lots of options and possibilities. I have none with TRX. 12 DVD's come with the Rip60 vs 1 DVD with the TRX, come on TRX is that it? Rip 60 the best quality, most durable of the two, and most important best value for the money.

  • @toddanthonydirect there's a neoprene flap that comes with the kit that goes between the mount and the door.

  • @toddanthonydirect post a picture or your ruined door! Mine has not ruined any door in my house...

  • @60HundredVideo thanks sooooo much for that review im ordering it today after i saw your video for christmas!!!!

  • this product is GREAT. i always wanted to buy TRX but now i changed my mind. The rotation movements allowed on this suspension will do good during active recovery, plus the handles are big enough for my hand. always hated the trx for making to small foot strap for my size 14 feet which bothers me much in a time crunch. rip 60 appears to me slightly more as heavy duty... that is why I liked rip 60 more, and that is why is it better TO ME!!!!!

  • @needsforu:

I agree with you. TRX is a quality product. I do NOT work for the company but can say without hesitation that provides an excellent workout. No weights required. I take it on the road with me all the time. Another good one is the Universal Strength Apparatus (USA) at wwwdotbwculturedotnet. Its like the TRX except it has ladders so you really never need to make adjustments. Its only $59. I still prefer TRX but the price of the USA is worth having a second one for the office.

  • @tonyantoniou76 :

The Crosscore system starts at $250!! That's more than TRX and TRX is offering a 25% holiday discount which brings the cost below $150. Crosscore looks cool but I will stick to the TRX. I've been using it for over a year and have no issues with build quality. Its a solid product.

  • There is another product I've seen that seems to be better than both of these put together. It's called the Crosscore War Machine. Comes with a pulley system which gives you full rotation and let's you use other equipment for resistance. It's pretty cool.

  • You can do a door anchor to your TRX without anything. Se my video, .... TRX, Door anchor

  • TRX does NOT ROTATE. That's why the RIP60 is unique. Buy it!!!!

  • This is the first version of the TRX. The second one is a little bit better in stabillity matters, so it kind of outweights the Rip:60 in a huge way. Its just my opinion, i´ve trained with both, and prefer the TRX.

For the DVD and stuff, sure, its nice for the Rip:60 to come with a zillion exercises, but there are just no routines you can´t find on Youtube, so it isn´t that much of an advantage.

Again, this is just my opinion.
