It's been more than three years since he's turned a pedal in anger, but Lance Arnstrong finally returned to bike racing this weekend in Colorado.

The venue was the annual Leadville 100, one of the world's toughest mountain bike races.

How tough was it?

The seven-time Tour de France winner ended up second, behind Dave Wiens, the man who's dominated Leadville the same way Lance once dominated the Tour.

  • I have enjoyed like a small child seeing this exciting race. This is competition,a REAL battle. This race has me remembered the good moments of Lance in Tour against Ullrich, Pantani or Zulle.Lance has the mentality of a real champion. He loves the sport and is one super class.Amazing Lance "come back".Great and beautiful place and race Leadville.
