it's even questionable if the games were ever buried, why didn't Atari sell them for parts. I can't imagine the state approve of burying games on their land. It's just an urban legend.

Yes, they were-They were not thrown in the landfill like this. This game is very plentiful for sale on ebay, and unlike most atari games, still dirt cheap and crappy as ever.
