"The way we interface, if you want to use a coy term, during sexual intercourse, the man is going to be satisfied and the woman is not; that's just the way it is," says Kim Marshall, author of The Great Sex Secret.
Many times, women are considered cold, inadequate, or undersexed if they do not experience an orgasm. The problem is that many couples rush into sex without taking the time to figure out what will work for both of them. Most likely, the man will be satisfied, but the woman will be left frustrated and unfulfilled.
Communication is a key element in the satisfaction of both partners. In order for couples to reach a mutual sexual climax, they need to talk openly and honestly to one another about their needs and feelings.
Biologically, women are built differently from men. This is why sex becomes so one sided. The woman is not stimulated in a manner that induces a climax. It takes more than just straightforward intercourse for a woman to be satisfied. She needs to be touched with tenderness and understanding.
Take a proactive approach to sex and talk about what you are comfortable with. Discuss what makes you uncomfortable about sex, and make suggestion about what you would like your partner to do.
Keep the lines of communication open, bringing new enjoyment into your sex life. Sex does not have to be one sided.
