Black History- Sweet Daddy Grace

Charles "Sweet Daddy" Grace offered am alternative to traditional Christianity. He founded the United House Of Prayer for All People in 1927. Today's dance takes place in front of his house on Logan Circle.

there are no sacred bricks. God does not dwell in buildings made with hands.... When Solomon got into vanity he did things he should not have done. He repented of his vanity. I pray this man did too. I hope he repented of the incorrect things he taught. He was into himself. Just because he had a lot and did for people, does not mean he was of Christ.

And the holy bible all so states God uses one man! And it all so states if u recieve whom I send u will recieve me! Just like noah, peter, john, and jesus himself! and just like them in their time u had disbelievers and false temples claiming to be Gods. But read isiah 56:7 and but it together with what i just told u! U can't look at the gospel with a natural eye! God is a spirit so u have to see it with a spiritual eye but I se we arent going to agree. So we will agree to disagree. Be blessed

@shanti0889 you make a valid point about there being a lot of scripture in the bible. Like many of your fellow members you are willing to state the scriptures that you believe support the UHOP. However, once those ideals are challenged with scripture you decide to shut down the conversation. Anyone can simply say read something that lacks concrete proof and then follow it up with ask GOD for understanding. Read Matthew 23:9 it speaks clearly.

@shanti0889 nice try but unfortunately your twisting the scriptures to fit your beliefs and what you've been taught. I urge you to go back and read the entire chapters for understanding without adding the words "DADDY" and/or "The United House of Prayer for All People Church on the Rock of the Apostolic Faith." Here's a few versus for you to ponder Deuteronomy 4:2, Deuteronomy 12:32, Revelation 22:18-19
