This movie is brilliant. First of all, it includes great storyline and many genres - action, adventure, biography, history, crime and western. Next - amazing cast, especially fantastic Heath Ledger. He was so talented actor
xenah, no, I wasn't angry, just disapointed that they had to fiddle around with the truth. The Channel 7 mini series "Ned Kelly", starring John Jarratt, was miles better. The other gripe was the photography, all those murky half-colours. That part of Victoria is very sunny and colourful, not at all the gloomy backwoods Hollywood depicted.
Well, I'm sorry if I got you wrong, but I was talking about your 3 months ago comment on the movie, "Ignore this Hollywoodish mush... total crap...", and I thought you were a little angry, didn't you? which sort of surprised me since we're talking about a movie, I don't think people expect it's a history lesson or something, you know, I think they even put a disclaimer at the end warning people the story they filmed wasn't all true if I recall...Maybe love stories sell better so they add one lol
I'm mystified how my reaction is supposed to be "excessive". To each their own. I cannot speak for his "fans"- it's just that in all the reams of stuff written about Ned, there isn't a jot about any love affair.
I was just kidding lol hope I didn't bother any of his fans or something xD (nop, I don't see any thumbs down, good :-) )
Well, I think no one believe what we see in the movies is truth, so I thought your reaction was a little bit excessive... just take ir easy -but thanks for the info :-)
Xenah, he may have been gay. Nobody knows. The fact remains that there is not a jot of evidence connecting him with any love affair. He worshipped his mother, and one hopes that she was worthy of it.
Well I have a q that needs answering well I don't know what the rating is on this I've been told its ma and also r so I don't know a little help
