Sudanese woman jailed over trousers

A Sudanese woman has been jailed for a month after refusing to pay a fine for "dressing indecently" by wearing trousers, her lawyers say.

Lubna Ahmed Hussein did not want to "give the verdict any legitimacy" by paying the fine of about $200 (£122), her lawyer, Nabil Adib said.

fuck 3rd world country's who don't respect women rights. Here is my idea, any woman who doesn't want to live in that hell hold the rest of the world should gladly let them into there counrtrys then maybe all the woman beater men in them country's will realize with out women they don't have shit but a sausage fest. I totaly agree with you @sweetema123 that the actions done by the police in the two cases is completely wrong and doesnt comply with procedures followed in Islamic law, and they should be punished for that. However the law itself is is correct, especially in the case of the girl slashed for comitted prostitution. Lubn wanted to get fame and fish in unclear water to be seen as hero, not more.
