"Challenge 2" by Jacques Delécluse

A veritable medley of great timpani excerpts--Strauss, Beethoven, Tchaikovsky, Brahms, and Mahler--using the piano as the orchestral accompaniment. With Slava Kiselev on piano.

Performed by Andrew Fuhrman on his senior BM degree recital in Kilbourn Hall at the Eastman School of Music, Rochester, NY, on April 14, 2009.

From the studio of Michael Burritt
