there were 'cracks' in both sides of the tree which were of great interest to them, AND the hole ... she was interested in both. when i shot this, they'd already been at the tree a couple of times (that's why you see her starting off at my side...i'd already called her off once)...in her frustration at not being able to get into the tree, i think she figured she might something out of the rabbit hole.
hey, the way i see it, at least the chipmunks and rabbits are living in harmony . :)
