But thats with limited technology. The reason it sounded more 8-bit was because the NES only had a few sound channels. Computers however, have a huge amount, so its not limited to the NES capabilities, if the NES had no restrictions, but could only use 8-bit sounds, this is likely what it would sound like.

I mean, he took the song, and remixed it WHILE keeping it in its own format by using a computer. That's like keeping the old feeling in a game, but making it look better.

This is not news to me, I'm not an idiot. It is an 8-bit "remix". Meaning its different from the original.
