One more M28 video, showing the upgrade that has you downgrading your rifle, by replacing the factory spring with a VSR-10 130SP spring. The fit is good, and all works well. Since there are virtually no upgrades available for the M28, replacing the factory spring with a lighter spring has the benefit of making life easier on your equipment. With the lighter spring there is less tension on the sears etc. Not to mention, the lighter spring is easier on the arm, when in a heavy shooting battle...

The M28 definitely needs some tender loving care. It looks great, but is as cheaply made as they come. It looked there for a while that we would start to see some support for the rilfe, but interests have changed... this rifle may die away.

Still can't decide if I should take on the task of owning an echo 1 m28 sniper rifle. A buddy of mine has a stock one with slam firing issues. With the lack of aftermarket parts I'm a bit concerned I may end up with more hassle than its worth.
