What is your level of injury? Can you lean back and make the chair recline? I'm a C6 complete and I can never seem to push back with enough force to recline chairs, airplane seats etc. using just my arms to push my body back.

Hi Josh - my company manufactures kayak docks, and a lot of people with disabilities are now getting into kayaking, so parks want the docks to be ADA accessible. I need to get the person from their wheel chair down to the deck - so they can slide into a kayak , and then back up into their wheel chair.
I would like to contact you with a video of my dock - to see if you have any input onto the best way to achieve this. Kim@accudock.com

Nice Job, I've had to be my own OT after an accident and videos like this help sooo much. THANK YOU!
Good transfer, is there something under that cushion to keep it firm? I always have a problem getting up from soft stuff.

The cushion on my chair is a varalite evolution, which you can adjust the firmness by an air valve. The sofa is fairly firm so it makes it easy,
hope that helps some
