Me playing Butterfly on violin

I really like this song performed by my favorite violinist Mairead Nesbitt. She is AMAZING!! I made a few mistakes but please ignore them :) I am thining to take up practicing celtic music as a hobby. I love playing this kind of music so much! This was my first recording of it so maybe I will make another with (hopefully) no mistakes soon!

@StreamofSilver it is definitely not too late!! I have met violinists who started playing as adults and can play quite well. if you have the desire and determination you can definitely learn to play :) you might find a blog article interesting. look for the blog article written by Beth Blackerby, "Is it too late for adults to learn to play the violin?"

@kazewhite it really depends on your current level of ability and whether you are getting help from a private lesson teacher. i worked on this about 6 weeks with a private lesson teacher. i am an undergrad student and violin is only a hobby so the 6 weeks was not of intense practicing. i did maybe 2-3 hours a week of practicing. hope this helps!
