    Most of the parts aren't made in a vise, they're made using a lathe. It's called turning. They turn the metal on the lathe and cut it down with a graver into certain sizes and lengths, as you can see a lot of the parts of a watch are made up of circular shapes, the teeth and leaves of the wheels and pinions are also traditionally cut with a lathe, you use an index plate to get the right amount of teeth and a tooth cutter will come in from the side and cut each teeth and leaf individually.

    Of course, the tourbillon falls completely out of Saxony watchmaking tradition, but to see them make one is still very nice indeed.
