@proudsoldier20042012 - I've ridden both Harley's and Yamaha's. I don't have a deep desire to need to "fit in" when I ride. To me, the ride is more important than the legacy of owning a Harley. This Yamaha rides amazing... fast an agile. It sounds awesome and it turns heads. There's nothing that concerns me about my decision. I'm feeling that you might be jealous... Just a hunch.

im getting a bike really leaning towards a harley dyna super glide. I was wonderin how much one of these go for??. Is it just cuz its a better bike or is it more bike for the money??

I got mine for $13.5K, but they have gone up a bit since then. I was very close to getting a Softail Deluxe, but then I saw the Raider. It;s a lot of motorcycle for the money and I've owned Yammys before, so I knew the quality would be there. Ultimately, the decision came down to wanting to have something unique and not ride the same bike everyone else has. I could not be more happier with my decision. What ever you choose with be the right choice because it;'s all about the ride! Safe riding!

the metric bike companies can try and duplicate the sound of a harley davidson but it wont ever happen......haha should have bought a harley!!!!!!!!!!

If you check cycletrader and craigslist there are smokin deals on these. You can find them sometimes with less than 1000 miles for around $9k. Also check the reviews. You'd have to put $1000-$1500 into a Harley 96" to get the performance of this 113". Nice bike!

if you own this bike you should check out LOWANDMEAN's website they have the best aftermarket air systems, speedometer faces, front and rear fenders,dash gauges and seatpans check it out.

Got the same bike (2008 Black Raider), same pipes. Love-em! And they sound BAD-ASS!
