Question for everybody, in Canada magazine capacity can only be 10 rounds for pistols. What is the best Pistol in 45acp with a 10 round capacity? Thanks to all.

@HYBRIDCOMBATIVES Good for you I'm glad to see someone as enthusiastic as you in the shooting community. I may not be a combat vet or a attics instructor but for 3 years in a row now i have placed 2nd ,3rd , and 1st the southern ohio IDPA. Ive shot against guys and good friends like Ken Hackathorn, Larry vickers etc (special guests at the IDPA in southern ohio), and have beaten them (but not always) This slow "boat anchor" blows the doors off of most others guns I've competed against.

@delzottoj I shoot at least 500 rounds a month from various platforms, shoot IDPA and action pistol and am a combat vet and tactics instructor. The US ARMY already abandoned the MK23 as an offensive pistol. IF you don't have a faster than 6 second El Presidente your barkin up the wrong tree. It is a slow boat anchor.

@HYBRIDCOMBATIVES uh i dare you to shoot a 1911 under water and not loose your hand. The design of the gun can't handle the round underwater. (i have shot my mk 23 underwater btw) I own ALOT of handguns and many of .45 in my day, i have yet to come across a factory hand gun that can do what that HK MK 23 can do. Ive shot that gun at many IDPA torments and have crushed guys using blocks and the 1911, not to say its the be all end all gun but its damn close.

@NurseMan1911 Really, if you understand the true function of a striker weapon, they are actually closer to single action weapons than double action. Thanks for the vid!!

@delzottoj Yes I have shot them. They don't do anything that any other well built .45 will do.
