This is my precious baby who was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy at 7 months just beginning to crawl! She was totally immobile and had very high tone until she started the medicine Baclofen. She started it at 7 months, rolled over for the first time within 2 weeks and started this crawling not a month later! Baclofen was my muffin's saving grace. :)
my son was just diagnosed this moth it's been quite a hard thing to get our heads around but we are looking into various therapy's such as osteopathy, ABM and general physiotherapy.
My son is 17 months old and just likes to roll about across our living room flaw and can sort of keep himself in the seated position for a few minuets before he needs to rest.
would you have any suggestions on encouraging crawling as we'd really like to see him moving more independently.

@OfficialUKRangers Gosh...It's so hard. Matty (aka Lula) couldn't even roll over a month before this because of her spasticity. Baclofen has been her saving grace. The change in her has been darn near a miracle. does your son have tightness? It may be worth asking if Baclofen could help. PT has been priceless, obviously. I wish I had more to help. Bless your family...it's no easy thing dealing with CP but we have learned, like her autistic sis, it's just part of who she is. Take care!

@mustang19898 Thanks, Mustang! I was doubly-blessed! One with Cerebral Palsy and one with Autism. I have a video up of them having OT together. It's soooo funny because Matty (aka Lula) here just wants to play with Charly and Charly is just like, "Get away from me!" They'll find their way. :)
