The entire mythos of the Cyclops came around because some people found a mammoth/elephant skull and misunderstood the hole in the "forehead" of the skull as a single giant eye socket.

Think about it. Without ancient people finding something strange and pulling some crazy story out of their ass, we would never of had a Cyclops in our culture.

If you do some actual research on archealogical findings you might be surprised at how historically accurate the Bible actually. The only reason someone would want to deny the historical evidences is because deep down you know that if the Bible is true then you are subject to its laws

Some of the most horrific things come from the bible. and religion causes more problems that anything else. It has caused death, war, hate, separation and crime. It caused suicide bombings and many more crimes. No, the bible does not lead to good
