The country could suffer a 3% reduction in its tea production during the first quarter of the year due to frost that is wilting tea in the farms. Affected areas include the mount kenya region and part of rift valley where a change in climatic patterns has exposed farmers to huge losses and is denying employment to hundreds of tea workers. So what exactly is frost and is the current situation a result of climate change or just a one off occurrence. Henry githaiga has that story.
