G-Technology G-Drive Mini preview

A quick look at the G-Tech G-Drive Mini, a small portable hard-drive designed for portable use with laptops. Tiny in size, this drive offers both USB 2 and Firewire connectivity and comes with carrying pouch, connection cables, and a special USB to DC-voltage power chord. The disk is only 5400 rpm speed, so will not deliver large track counts, but is ideal for both smaller location recording tasks as well as sample & loop storage.

I got one of these, I love it.

Partitioned it and set aside 160 gbs for time machine and use the rest for whatever I want. Great portable hard drive. I also cloned my mac to it and can boot up into my system from any intel mac on the go.

Give up the smoking it's bad for you. I picked up one of these 500 gb for about 100 less than retail off ebay.
