I LOVE my Quadras: I own three packs + three extra batteries and five heads. I'll agree that the skyport is nicely designed but I do run into issues from time to time. Hence my pocketwizards traveling with me for all shoots, just in case. Having been a bondtrader (13 years) turned wedding photographer, the trading firm that hired Adrian better have been a British institution because flying a photog from London while their trading floor is in NY is a slap in the face to native New Yorkers. $0.02
@YIMMA996TT I have the same opinion. I see no difference from using a big reflector and a quality lens that using 1000 elinchroms . I have to say they must be great flashes but hell ...
@LeoInterHyenaem I'm no fan boy and don't know what caused you to have this opinion. I've used a set of 2 receivers and one transmitter skyport EL for over a year with spectacular results and reliability. I trigger 2 Flashes , 2 BX-Ri 500 and now a quadra - being able to control Elinchrom units wirelessly is priceless.
Wow!! You are the poster child for gear can't help the talentless. They flew YOU from London to ny to do a shoot? I could've done the exact same pictures with a p7000. What happened? All the photographers in ny were buisy in London? You don't need 100 elinchroms. The sun behind a cloud as your light couldn't help you. Lmao.
@mxdadNZ To meter the light, perhaps? Sekonic ought to be chastised properly for this sort of favouritism! One of the most popular wireless triggering systems, second to PocketWizard only, and yet entirely disregarded by the chaps at Sekonic! What an idiocy!

@TheFlashCentre Thank you very much, miraculously - I'd given up all hope - your suggestion worked! :-)
