How is Alva really living? By pursing her passion for art—and discovering a love of theater.

A retired teacher, Alva started her own painting class for fellow Erickson Living® residents. While designing sets for the theater group, she was bitten by the acting bug. Now, this artist is singing, dancing and stealing the show—and feeling more energized than ever before.

Across the country, thousands of people have discovered a way to add more living to their lives. They're pursuing their passions, following their dreams and celebrating life at Erickson Living communities.
