@poloman58 way to respond like a dbag, I'll reply back in the same manner. The fact that you're so concerned about the dimple being stamped in the middle makes you either 70 or a dbag. Do you really want to look like you spent 5 hours getting ready like a 17 year old girl? This is a tutorial on how to tie a four in hand knot, not how to make a dimple.

@avvi66 what knot the merovingian wears in the matrix movie?
Terrible finish on this video. He doesnt pay attention to the dimple , which is the difference between a great tie and a sloppy tie. You must pinch the dimple in the center and hold it as you tighten the tie so it stays centered.

Quite rudely stated, but yes, I am not paying attention to the dimple. It's hard enough for some people to learn these knots, than for me to nag on dimple issues. In your world there are obviously only to types of ties; great or sloppy. This one is what most people wear: something in between.

OMG, it was all going so well up until about 37 seconds, then he just DESTROYED the knot and tie in one foul over-zealous pull! NEVER yank down on the tie, instead hold and squeeze the knot while slowly moving the long part down. Keep a small dimple and never over-tighten your knot or you'll kill the tie

You have a point. I personally like large tight knots. But small knots as this one should maybe not be tightened so hard. It is actually a matter of taste. A tie can be conceived to be too loose or too tight. I'm not saying that my ties are perfect, or that I have good or bad taste. I'm just showing the correct way to TIE the tie. Pulling and yanking are prone to individual taste. Anyways, your view is duly noted and appreciated.
