I dont understand why people say to treat all guns as if they are loaded... how do you ever clean the barrel??? Would you clean the barrel of a loaded gun?? I certainly would not. Nor would i transport it, store it etc. IT is a very stupid statement to make.

I actually had a friend do the same thing to me, but he wouldn't check. His rifle went off and I now I have a little reminder for gun safety in the front of my leg, and a larger one for ballistics of a .223 in the side.
