Rush formed a few days after I was born !!!! Cool Huh!

The Test for Echo album was released a few days after I was born. That is a fact I am very proud of.

What does that even mean? He hits at least one object on every quarter note?

Double-negative, but I know what you were trying to say

Still waiting for Neil and the rest of Rush to play this live again...Sadly, I think I'm gonna be waiting a long time.

Alright, that's great if he's influenced you. There's always something about your first idol, isn't there? I'll fight anyone who disses Chad Smith to death, so I guess I wasn't appreciative of your opinion there. Point taken. It's not that I don't like Neil Peart; you just listed greater drummers than him as your influences as well, so I can see you have a great regard for him AND others. I just took offense at the way you put him on a pedestal; then I realized you were talking about influence.

buddy whoa whoa whoa, first off you dont even know me, secondly, i praise him so much because of how him and rush have influenced me and got me started in music. trust me- i know there are areas hes overshadowed in and trust me im not trying to be exactly like him, this is why SO MANY people praise him as being the best- cuz he has influenced the majority of drummers today, moreso than any other commercial drummer in the world. For the record I also love Gadd, Bonzo, Beauford, Chambers, Caluita

I like all the songs on this album. Critics are fucking crazy for saying this is a bad cd.

So smooth, flawless, technical, melodic, perfect, creative, precise, and never over doing it at all for any of the songs he plays. Never will I ever see someone as good as him. He NEVER misses a beat. So technical. No one can match what he does and has done for drumming. In my opinion anyways.
I know there are a lot of legendary drummers out there, and many will say they are way better than him, and I agree, only in some aspects though. He is alltimebest No drummer misses less beats than him.
