This is free marketing data for them. Now they can collect information on your play directly. They used to have to pay for this information, but do they play us? With Ubipoints.
SO now they hold back features upon release and sell them back to you, giving you the illusion of value for using their data collection system.
We have systems we can log into to compare across developers, why would we limit ourselves to Ubi-universe.
A company will never do anything that does not serve THEIR interest
