Gino Cools Off

Gino and I went for our walk in the park this morning and, of course, ended up in the creek. Here's a Flickr slide show:

UPDATE: On Gino's eighth birthday (11/2/09) doctors informed us that a mass removed from his head was malignant. He died two days later.


When we bring them into our lives we enter into a covenant to provide them with food, shelter and loving care. Part of that care is preventing them from needless suffering and, no matter how much we hate to part with them, we must be mindful of their needs instead of our own.

Rest in Peace my brave noble Gino. I will see you at the Rainbow Bridge - and leave the cats alone!
