  • Will the mom get overprotective/grieved when a pup gets taken away for adoption/purchase?

  • all those babies

  • Tail docking is mainly owner preference, I myself like the tail docked, my rottie has his tail docked. I have never seen a rottie that still had his tail being entered into an AKC dog show, the lower organizations ckc/ukc allow undocked tails in their shows, but a dog thats in the shows is no better than the ones that aren't, My Rottie isn't a show dog, but he is registered. And I love him the way he is. He's my show dog.

  • @asrotties For that reason now I will only get docked dogs. I just don't wish to chance it again, it was heartbreaking for my dear boy to suffer so much with his broken open bleeding tail. Poor guy was much happier after as he had no more injuries.

  • @gonnamakeit94 Not all cases but I did have an adult Rottweiler that had to be docked because he kept breaking open his tail. Vet said enough is enough, it needs to come off. People all thought the dog would have a hard time being docked as an adult but that couldn't have been further from the truth. He didn't seem to notice a difference. I know many tailed dogs have no problems but I don't want to chance it again. Poor dog suffered much before we had him docked.

  • you guys know that a rotties tail is actually a health hazard right?

  • @d5ranger: LOL You have incorrect information. It is not true that any cropped tail throws off a dogs balance.

  • How sweet, so many little babies
