It wasnt in any damn salt lake. I know some of the guys that were out there. One of the diesel men's hoses got ran over, sprang a leak, and boom. Fire starts on one pump and spreads with the quickness. Fire truck sank because the locations are soft as hell after we start fracing a job. Moving heavy trucks in and out is rough on the ground after awhile.

This happened in the salt lake and a whole salt mine went under a sinkhole/a drain hole - nature fights back and wins- cool.

Those fracking trucks......

Thank the good LORD no one was hurt! Have worried about things like this for 32 yrs, now he's in the office. Can breathe a little easier. But being a Frac Rats wife, I still worry about his boys! But that's just part of it!

@DEFLEPPARDFAN4LIFE There were about 24 units on scene from different agencies (Shreveport FIre, Caddo Fire Districts 1, 3, 4, Caddo Shrerrifs, and a hazmat team)
How in the world did engine 12 slip so far into the earth like that?. was it a sinkhole ? driver error perhaps?

Doc, what happened to engine 12?
JWD172 10 months ago
@JWD172 and TheUban 123 >>>---> Engine 12 was laying LDH and trying to keep it as far right as possible so that other responders could get by. Thr right wheels hit a soft spot in the sholder of the road and the rig got stuck. I don't think Eng 12 received any serious damage.
