Dynamic, urchin-faced stand-up Andrew Maxwell is a whole pocket full of fun; the Dublin- born comedian breaks down highly complex political and social issues and makes them digestible and hilarious for his audience. In the style of his hero, Dave Allen, Andrew is a master of the anecdote and the quick put down.

Winner of Channel 4's King Of Comedy in 2004 and Comedian's Comedian by Chortle in 2005, Andrew Maxwell is one of the top headlining acts.
His 2006 Edinburgh show, 'Round Twilight, was a sell-out and critical smash, while his club night, Maxwell's Full Mooners, continues to revamp and electrify late-night cabaret audiences at London's The Comedy Store. His appearance on 2006's Secret Policeman's Ball (channel 4) was singled out by critics as the highlight of the evening.

For Comedy Cuts, Andrew became a TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) teacher for a group of Japaneses students who were trying to learn the English language. Andrew gave them his own personal incite into passing themselves of as English. Despite Andrew being Irish!. His audience may not have understood the punch lines, but they appreciated his timing.
