I did mine in html on notepad too. Pain in the behind, but at least it's cheap. I did my last video using paint and adobe premiere.
A lot of youtube videos look like they use programs that specifically handle animation, because frame by frame in paint is just beyond impractical. I saw one kid who does some Mickey the Squirrel cartoon with paint that's really impressive I think.

HAH! I have those exact books. I can tell that one is Deities and Demigods. Funny thing is that I've never played. Those books are older than me. My dad gave them to me now that he's too old to play anymore.

sweet, amazing what u can do with relatively simple programs and human inginuity, holllaaah!!! i made an entre website notepad.exe. haha top that! lol, well, dont actually, that process really really was inefficient, probly shoulda just used dreamweaver like everyone else... *sad face* lol
