~ 25" of penetration wouldve punctured the diaphram too. At that range that arrow has a ton of energy and does a ton of damage penetration wise.
Cool video!

Good video! Keep them coming.

this is the best video mix I have seen with the choice of music, graphics, text, someone did a hell of a job you should start a video company ...really well done.

@Dissonant1975 I would hate to take any of your time or get in the way of your buddy but if youre cool with it that wud be great. ill subscribe to your channel and leave a comment with my email sometime so we can set that up.

@dY5520 I would love to help you out. A buddy of mine drew from the Nov elk tag as well, so I'll be guiding him as well. If you like we can meet up in the area a few weeks/month prior to your hunt and I can show you some good spots around here..

@Dissonant1975 To my knowledge that monster 19 or 20 pt HAS NOT been killed mabey youll get lucky and find him again this year. Are you hiring a guide due to the fact this is a hunt of a lifetime? And if you wudnt mind pointing me towards some good spots for bulls on my november hunt(since the unit is your backyard and you probably know it waaay better than me) it would be greatly appreciated. Congradtsagain on pulling one of the best elk tags in all of North America.

@dY5520 You know the funny thing is, I had no intention on putting in for this hunt until a buddy of mine talked me into it. At the counter of the AZGFD the guy told me that I had a better chance on winning the lottery, that my draw odds were exactly 2%. The day I found out I drew I went and bought a lottery ticket, lol..Im still broke so we see where that got me, but hey, cant win'em all. I walked away with a sick elk tag, even if I dont bag a kill, I know the area and the hunt is gonna rock!

@dY5520 LOL...Actually I do live in Pinedale off of Victory Heights RD. I know that bull that your talking about. He had 19 points and was in my back yard for over a week before he popped his head out of the brush at 2am. I was setting there with my bino's waiting on him. I've never heard a bull call like his. Deep, raspy and full of get the fk outta my way...He was a big boy, and extremely smart.
Curious about how he died so fast. The arrow looks like a gut shot, yet there is a lot of blood out the mouth that looks like a lung shot. What angle is the wound track. Was death from a cut artery? Excellent little video.

ugabosch1- He fell dead within 5 minutes. It definitely was not a great shot to say the least however with him quartering away as much as he was the arrow was able to hit the liver which was the cause of his death

Thanks guys for the responses. I used the Canon Vixia HF200(HD). A very small camera. Good for hunting trips like these as it doesn't take up much room.
