A drum solo on my electronic drum kit (Roland VDrums TD-12). It is a bit ropey as the structure is not brilliant, but it contains a few new techniques that I have been practising. Feel free to comment on how I can improve some of these techniques. (Also, this has been done on an electric kit for ease of practising and recording, not that I don't use/prefer acoustics!)

Update: There has been many comments about if this vid has been sped up/altered to make it look as though im playing faster...THERE HAS BEEN NO modifications to the speed of the video, all is being played in REAL time. The beginning (for some unknown reason) is slightly out of sync...that occured during the upload process (prob an error or something). If people do not believe me then fine I've sed my piece...just note that any comments relating if has been sped up will be marked as spam.

Sorry to those who this does not relate to.

  • @limitededish U are very good at playing btw.

  • @limitededish nice. Your drum kit sounds better than my Roland TD-9k2 pretty sure. how long u been playing. Ive been playing drums for like 6 month. Your prob better than me but im still very good. Like i can play really fast. i hard for me to do really fast rolls becuase my drums are small but ill have to show u a video of me playing.
