Do you realize you are teaching a potentially fatal practice? It is horrible practice to fire twice, scan, and re holster. There have been plenty of people killed in real combat because that is what they practice and that is what they did for real. In combat, we don't rise to the occasion, we fall to the level of our training. If you practice to fire twice and stop, that is exactly what you will do in real combat, and it could prove to be fatal.

@eingraham81 Teaching someone the basics isn't a fatal practice. Thanks for the input but we are doing just fine. Plus if your not smart enough to realize to shoot till the target is down, you shouldn't have a gun.

@Sandbag1300 Maybe this is not to the satisfaction of some viewers, but it would behoove these viewers to know that this is **not** the only technique they practice... dang- if you watch their vids, they practice a wide variety of techniques.

Eingraham apparently hasn't seen some of the other videos where you guys are emptying the clips. That technique really seems like Jim Grover. He trains with a double tap. Considering he taught Marine Spec Ops teams I think it is good to trust his expertise.

@cory07ink Also, for training it may be good to mix in some snap caps with live rounds in her magazine so she can practice tap, rack, eject, tap, rack.

@cory07ink Cory, you may want to rethink this. Eingraham81 is correct. You are practicing a behavior. When under high stress you will lose all problem solving skills and creative thinking and will defer to learned behavior. I suggest you mix up your training to include shooting until you stop the bad guy and not re holster but instead stand ready and scan. Then, count to ten, scan again, then re holster. It will make a big difference in a real life live fire situation.

I dont generally read comments but some of the ones here are just silly. No one has to agree with your training style accept you and Erika. Props to both of you for actually being out there putting lead downrange. You filming it and posting is just a bonus to us...the viewer most of us are likely not out there 1/4 as much as you are.
