Learn how to play classical fingerstyle guitar in this free video clip. Easy classical guitar lessons for beginners and music tips and techniques.

Born in 1650 and dying in 1732 Robert de Visée began his career as a court musician to Louis X1V and even became the guitar teacher of the young Louis XV. In fact, he was a deft hand at many instruments including the theorbo, the viola de gamba and the lute. He wrote many works for these instruments that have come back into vogue over the last fifty or so years.

  • Thank you for being who you are, One in a million. My guitar playing has improved 100% since finding your website, It's a big hearty "THANK YOU" from me. Dave from Scotland.

  • @albadav135 Nice to hear Dave! Thanks for the nice comments and keep up the good work :))

  • Hello there. I usually play metal and I saw a comment which said for younger players (I'm 17, been playing for 4 years) to play jazz or classical to play guitar better. With famous metal artists, I found out that they usually learned classical guitar for a few years or more. Could you help me please? Thank you.

  • @lordzero545 Hey! If you use the link under the videos it'll take you over to my website where you can get access to the beginner's course which should help getting you started on some classical playing :))

  • Very cool. I played classical guitar 30 years ago while in high school & had forgotten how beautiful it was. For the last couple of years I've been having a hard time trying to re-learn my old skills with books from the library, but now that I've found your website I am working on a new set of calluses. The videos and tabs are making thing so much easier. Almost like having a private teacher to help me again. Good on ya for this mate.

  • @seattlecsifan I'm glad it's useful and enjoy the calluses! :))

  • @SuperAddinall You're welcome!

  • So very nice. Thank you.

  • PEACEFUL AND SMOOTH..

  • Thank you for all your efforts to learn us how to play classical guitar. I have been a fan and a student of your lessons for more than two years and I have learned a lot.

There's a suggestion that I would like to make. I think that if you could show us your left hand in a closer view ( like your right hand) we would learn left hand techniques so much better.

    Thanks again.
